Following the declaration of a state of emergency in Israel until March 12, the Embassy of Uzbekistan has issued an urgent advisory for citizens temporarily residing in the country.

The diplomatic mission urges strict adherence to safety measures:

  • Upon hearing sirens, immediately proceed to the nearest bomb shelter or protected space
  • Do not photograph or film missile impact sites or air defense systems—this is dangerous and carries legal liability
  • If you encounter missile debris or unknown objects, do not approach them, move to a safe distance, and report to security services

If necessary to return home, exit is possible through the "Taba/Begin" border crossing with Egypt. From there, travel to Sharm el-Sheikh (270 km) by bus or car. Flights to Uzbekistan from Sharm el-Sheikh Airport are operated by Uzbekistan Airways, Centrum Air, Qanot Sharq, Air Samarkand, and other airlines.
