️ In the Marhamat district of Andijan region, four technical workers of a medical association died as a result of an accident, the district administration's press service reported.

️ The incident occurred on June 10 at around 11:00 a.m. on the territory of the central polyclinic belonging to the district medical association. According to the regional prosecutor's office, guards L.Q. and Q.M., driver I.N., and electric engineer M.M. entered a bunker for collecting sewage and waste water for cleaning and repair purposes.

️ Inside the bunker, they were poisoned, fell into liquid waste, and died at the scene. During emergency rescue operations, the bodies of the victims were removed from the bunker. Forensic and other necessary examinations have been ordered to determine the causes of death and other circumstances.

️ According to preliminary data, the incident occurred due to non-compliance with safety regulations. A criminal case has been initiated by the investigation group under the district internal affairs department under Article 257, Part 2, Clause 'a' of the Criminal Code (Violation of labor protection rules). Preliminary investigative actions are underway.

️ The investigation has been taken under control. Upon its completion, the issue of the guilt of the perpetrators will be resolved, and a legal decision will be ensured, the Andijan region prosecutor's office stated.
