Erkin Komilov, holder of the Order of Great Services, was born on July 20, 1946, in the Khojaabad district of Andijan region. He began his career at the Hamza Theater in 1966 and graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Theater and Fine Arts in 1968.

The actor performed in numerous stage productions, including 'Golden Wall', 'Beruni', 'Marriage', 'Every Barrel Has a Flaw', as well as 'Katagon', 'Ufq', and 'King Lear'. His repertoire features both national and world classics.

Komilov also appeared in many films. In 1978, he had an episodic role in 'Congratulations on the Wedding', followed by 'Faceless' (1992), 'Golden Boy' (1994), 'Days Gone By' (1997), and 'Suyunchi' and 'Whirlpool' (1982).

Additionally, he starred in TV series such as 'Diyonat', 'Fields Left by My Father', 'Love', 'Great Amir Temur', 'Ulfatlar', and 'Shaytanat', and participated in the show 'Father's Word is the Eye of Wisdom'.

On his birthday, the newspaper prepared a quiz based on the films of the holder of the Orders of Labor Glory and Selfless Service.
