In Karakalpakstan, gas supply organizations have begun implementing temporary restrictions on the operation of automotive gas filling compressor stations (AGNKS) in phases. This is due to a drop in pressure in the main gas networks amid cold weather conditions.
According to the press service of Hududgaz Qoraqalpog‘iston, under the current weather conditions, priority gas distribution is aimed at ensuring uninterrupted supply to key consumers. The resource is primarily directed to private households and the residential sector, as well as social infrastructure facilities such as hospitals and educational institutions.
Official data indicates that the restrictions are temporary. Experts expect the situation to stabilize within the next 3–4 days, after which the operation of gas filling stations will be fully restored.
The company emphasized that the measures taken are solely aimed at ensuring the safety and reliable gas supply to priority consumers. Residents of the region were urged to consider possible temporary inconveniences when planning vehicle refueling.
